And nobody really reads this, but it's about time I got some more recent work up onto the site. My current projects are centred around music, and the idea that music and art are different manifestations of the same thing. One is visual, the other audible. For this I've drawn lots of inspiration from vintage LP covers, I really feel that they were so much more innovative and creative than current album designs.

I should start by introducing myself to those who don't know me. My name is Laura (not tiger lily, can you believe it!) and I'm passionate about the creative pursuits of life!
My favourite media are paint and pencil, which most of my pieces are, but I enjoy using clay as well. I'm applying for art college to start next year, and I hope to go on to do a degree in visual communications.

There's probably a lot more I could write, but I don't have the time! Basically, I'd like to think I'm quite friendly and like to hear from new people.
